How to return an item



Returning an item should be an easy process. At igus® we want the process to be straightforward and as uncomplicated as possible. If you are unhappy with your purchase or no longer require the item, please read the points below on how to organise a return. 
Contact needs to be made within 30 days from delivery. 
If you have discovered any non-conformance regarding your order, please contact us within 5 working days from receipt of delivery
Please read the Terms & Conditions attached to see which items are not accepted for returns.

Returning an item

 
  • Complete the returns form below 
  • Once you have had a response, you will receive a RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorisation number)
  • Please make sure the parcel has the RMA number on it. 
  • Ensure that the items are returned in suitable packaging to avoid damage in transit.
  • Any returned part must be received back in the original condition – unused and without damage.
  • Depending on the reason of the return, igus® can arrange collection as part of the returns process. If the collection attempt is unsuccessful due to reasons the courier could not be responsible for, the customer will be charged for the second collection arranged (costs being subject to courier’s Terms & Conditions).
  • Please allow at least 2 working days for an igus® chosen courier to collect the goods. Please contact igus® if the collection is not made in the agreed time frame, so we can avoid the delay of the return process.

What do I do if I have a non conformance? 
If you have a non-conformance regarding your order, please contact us within 5 working days from receipt of delivery. Replacement(s), re-work or credit will be issued depending on the nature of the reported problem and mutual agreement.

Do igus® charge a handling fee?
A handling charge may be applied, subject to case review. The handling charge will be agreed prior to an RMA being issued.  

Which items are not accepted for return?
Due to specific properties of some products, please note the following are non-returnable:
  • Rails <1m
  • Cables<10m
  • Items that are not included in the igus® standard range (i.e. 3D printed parts, machined items, bespoke products etc.)
