igus® makes the technician's work easier: The motion plastics® specialist from Cologne marks its energy chains with a Quick Response (QR) code. Technicians only have to switch on the camera of their smart phone or tablet and scan the two-dimensional pixel code that is visible on the crossbars and outer links. They are directed to a website where igus® provides all the important information about the product. This includes photos and videos that guide the technician step by step through the assembly process – as graphically as if an igus® expert was present. Annoying rewinding? Hardly necessary. Important assembly steps are shown in slow motion for better understanding. This multimedia presentation reduces set-up times and downtimes.
