Plain bearings in hinges

In the convertible top, in steps or spoiler kinematics: single and multi-joint hinges are used in various places on the vehicle and are usually equipped with metal-rolled bearings with PTFE coating. In order to achieve a low-clearance system, however, these bearings have to be recalibrated at great expense. Our solid plastic bushings, on the other hand, simply calibrate themselves through the heat effect during the e-coating process. The result: A low clearance bearing even with a rough sheet metal hole
