Product description
iglidur® J350 | Endurance runner with high dimensional stability at high temperatures - Can be used with many different shafts and loads

  • Excellent coefficient of friction against steel
  • Continuous service temperature up to +180 °C
  • For medium to high loads
  • Particularly well-suited to rotating movements
  • Lubrication- and maintenance-free
  • Standard range from stock
An outstanding bearing for rotating applications – and for a wide range of different shaft materials: With iglidur® J350 bearings with flange, the service life can often be increased for applications between 2 and 50 MPa. In addition, the high temperature resistance makes it a very versatile material.

Tolerances and measurement system
The installation dimensions and tolerances of iglidur® plain bearings are a function of the material and wall thicknesses. For each material, the moisture absorption and the thermal expansion are decisive factors. Plain bearings with low moisture absorption can be designed with a minimal bearing clearance. The rule for wall thickness: the thicker the wall of the bearings, the larger the clearances must be.
Testing methods

Assembly
iglidur® plain bearings are press-fit bearings. The inner diameter adjusts only after press-fitting in the correctly toleranced housing. The press-fit excess dimension can be up to 2% of the inner diameter. This ensures the secure press-fitting of the bearing. Axial or radial movement in the housing are prevented this way.
