Shop thrust ball bearings

Unlike traditional metal bearings, our axial ball bearings are made of high-performance plastics. They do not require lubrication and are maintenance free. The innovative materials are characterised by extremely low wear values and a long service life. The design of the plastic axial ball bearings is ideal for environments in which conventional metal bearings are not suitable. This applies, for example, to contact with chemicals or applications in which the use of lubricants is problematic, such as in the food industry. The combination of plastic rings, cages and balls made of stainless steel or glass means that the bearings can be flexibly adapted to different requirements. Despite their low weight, they can withstand comparatively high axial forces and impress with their long-lasting performance, even under stressful operating conditions.

Thrust ball bearings

The thrust ball bearings also known as axial ball bearings are up to 40% more cost-effective and 60% lighter than axial bearings made of metal. However, this is not the only advantage. The thrust ball bearings, optionally available with glass or stainless steel balls, enable economically efficient and long-lasting operation. They are robust, corrosion-free and resistant to media and temperatures from -40 to +80°C. In addition, they guarantee maintenance-free, low-friction, silent and hygienic dry operation without any lubrication oil. In short, xiros® axial ball bearings are technologically way ahead of comparable metal bearings in many respects.
