iglidur® GLW | Low-cost material for high volume

With the iglidur® GLW material, we can offer our customers an alternative to iglidur® G for high-volume applications. With similar characteristic values as iglidur® G, iglidur® GLW is particularly recommended for primarily static loads. For these applications, where the dynamic specifications of iglidur® G can be largely dispensed with, they represent a very cost-effective alternative.

Typical application areas

  • Automotive
  • Mechanical engineering
  • Robotics industry

When do I use it?

  • When I need an economical all-rounder material for high volumes
  • For high, primarily static loads
  • At low to medium speeds

When do I not use it?

  • When mechanical rework of the wall surface is required
  • For mainly dynamic loads
  • When maximum wear resistance is required
  • For use under water
Unsure if it fits?
