igubal KGLM – robust and versatile for demanding applications
The igubal KGLM spherical bearing of dimensional series K is ideal for rotating, oscillating and axial movements and is characterised by its high-quality materials and its wide range of applications. The housing is made of igumid G, an impact-resistant, long-fibre reinforced polymer that is suitable for temperatures from -40°C to +120°C and can withstand short-term exposure up to +180°C. This material ensures the high dimensional stability of the bearing.
The spherical ball of the KGLM spherical bearing is made of the highly wear-resistant iglidur W300. This material offers a long service life without the need for lubrication. This significantly reduces maintenance and ensures reliable and continuous performance in the most diverse applications.
A particularly noteworthy advantage of the KGLM spherical bearing is its ability to compensate for misalignments and edge loads. Furthermore, the KGLM is corrosion-free and possesses high damping capacity as well as excellent vibration dampening.
The igubal spherical bearings are an outstanding solution for a wide range of applications where high performance, freedom from maintenance and insensitivity to dirt are essential. They offer numerous advantages over conventional metallic spherical bearings and are a cost-effective, lightweight and robust choice for machine and plant engineering.
