The xiros® radial deep groove ball bearings consist of high-performance polymers, whereby stainless steel or glass balls move in the cage. This has many advantages: The polymer bearings are up to 40% more cost-effective and 60% lighter than comparable metal bearings. They nevertheless meet the requirements of everyday industrial life; thanks to many years of research work in the igus® laboratories, the polymer bearings are corrosion-free, media- and temperature-resistant and therefore long-lasting. In addition, they enable maintenance-free, low-friction and hygienic dry operation. Without a single drop of lubricating oil.
