Streamline your operations with expertly installed energy supply systems from igus®. Whether you're replacing a single chain link or undertaking a full-scale modernisation, we deliver tailored, fully pre-configured systems, that save you time and money. Backed by a 4-year system guarantee, our on-site service ensures long-term performance with minimal disruption.
At igus®, we pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive service that goes far beyond standard supply. We don’t just manufacture complete energy chain systems — we also assess and appraise existing setups to identify opportunities for improvement. Leveraging our deep experience in design, application knowledge, and industry expertise, we can propose more reliable and cost-effective alternatives tailored to each customer’s needs.
Whether it's a new installation or a retrofit, we ensure components are correctly designed into the application and properly installed. For retrofit projects, we take full ownership of the design process, drawing from customer documentation, on-site measurements, and testing. This leads into a structured process of design review, approval, manufacturing, quality control, and shipping.
We also provide a complete drawing pack to support successful installation — even if we’re not directly involved in that phase. This includes:
This thorough approach increases the likelihood of project success for both igus® and our customers.
Often, customers aren’t aware that their current solution can be improved — and that’s where our proactive approach makes a difference. We identify areas where reliability can be enhanced or costs reduced.
For example, a customer may accept frequent festoon replacements as normal. We challenge that assumption by offering maintenance-free, long-life energy chain systems. By understanding the customer’s processes and application, we can pinpoint the problem and begin developing a tailored solution.

Our team operates across a wide range of environments, including:
We meticulously plan every aspect of our site work, including Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), access requirements, and lifting procedures. Our teams are equipped with all necessary documentation and certifications, such as:
This ensures we meet all site-specific requirements and maintain the highest safety standards.
Accurate and detailed data is essential for us to deliver a precise and effective proposal. The more high-quality information we receive, the better we can tailor our solution — and the smoother the project delivery will be.
For new designs, remote collaboration via video calls and digital document sharing is often sufficient. However, for retrofit projects, we strongly prefer a site visit to gather measurements and assess the application in person.
