Whether it's a new installation or a retrofit, we ensure components are correctly designed into the application and properly installed. For retrofit projects, we take full ownership of the design process, drawing from customer documentation, on-site measurements, and testing. This leads into a structured process of design review, approval, manufacturing, quality control, and shipping.

We also provide a complete drawing pack to support successful installation, even if we’re not directly involved in that phase. This includes:

• General Arrangement drawings showing how our system integrates with the machine
• Full Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Detailed component and assembly drawings
• Installation and testing guidance

This thorough approach increases the likelihood of project success for both igus® and our customers.

Often, customers aren’t aware that their current solution can be improved, and that’s where our proactive approach makes a difference. We identify areas where reliability can be enhanced or costs reduced.

For new designs, remote collaboration via video calls and digital document sharing is often sufficient. However, for retrofit projects, we strongly prefer a site visit to gather measurements and assess the application in person.
