A linear bearing is designed to provide smooth and precise linear motion in a single direction consisting of a housing or carriage and a moving element.

Linear bearings can be used in a multitude of applications. As they are dimensionally the same conventional standard ball bearings, they are ideal for replacing these in applications and industries including robotics, and material handling equipment.

With igus® linear bearings, no lubricant is required! Our linear bearings are lubrication-free due to the high-performance polymer sliding elements.
