As robotic technology become more complex, the demands on the energy management systems are increasing. More and more often, not only electrical and pneumatic cables but also feed hoses for bolts, rivets and screws have to be routed on production robots. Since these hoses cannot cope with a small bend radius, the new triflex® RSE relies on very simple linear retraction system without deflection and no loops.

The purpose of the triflex® RSE retraction system is to hold the e-chain® to the robotic arm as closely as possible - this prevents the e-chain® from intefering with the robot's movements. The triflex® RSE is a particularly lightweight and cost-effective retraction system

The RSE retraction system consists of the following component parts:

Elastic band or tension spring for retraction

Mounting plates for flexible connection to a wide range of robot types

4

Mounting bracket without strain relief of the corresponding e-chain® size

5

Smooth feed-through of the corresponding e-chain® size
