Definition of Cable Track

What is a cable track?

Cable track is another term that is used when describing a energy chain. Cable tracks guide and support moving cables usually found in industrial applications. Cable tracks are made from specially formulated plastics that are strong and robust and can withstand a variety of environments. To protect the moving cables and hoses the energy chain is the main equipment that protects them from wear and tear and at worst, total failure. Furthermore, because the cable tracks are made from special plastics they are also eliminate conductivity which can build up from continuous dynamic motion.
