Rack & pinion linear module for long travel applications

Long travel systems can be expensive. We designed the drylin® EGW rack & pinion linear module for applications that not only require long travel distances but also high dynamics and reliable positioning. Unlike belt-driven systems, the modular rack and pinion design can be extended almost limitlessly, allowing multiple carriages to operate independently on the same axis, without compromising on the smooth operational movement.

With our lubrication-free linear guides, maintenance=free operation, as well as our configurable motor options, the EGW system provides a cost-effective solution for many applications, such as; material handling, automation, inspection systems and industrial machinery.

Are you looking for a linear system for long travel distances? Then discover our Endless Gear linear module with rack and pinion drive.

The jigsaw like structure makes to easy to have several carriages controlled in parallel or independently of each other on an infinitely long rail profile that can be plugged together. The rack and pinion segments can also be used to easily extend travel paths downstream - as simple as a toy railway track.

With the drylin® EGW modular system, you get everything from a single source, from the linear guide and the carriages to the chains and cables for the power supply - also ready to install on request, including motor and control system.
