Ensuring that we can offer a solution for every environment is very important to us. There are many applications that are hostile in terms of chemicals. corrosive compounds, hygienic and extreme temperature. The SLW-ES stainless steel linear module is designed for such environments.

Combining a robust lead screw drive with corrosion-resistant stainless steel components as well as lubrication-free bearings, the systems deliver precision positioning with minimal or no maintenance required.

Available with standard, FDA-compliant or high-temperature bearing materials, the SLW-ES is ideal for food processing, packaging and chemical industry applications where cleanliness and durability are essential.

In combination with drylin linear axes, which can be ordered completely ready for installation and connection, entire handling systems can be configured.     Bearing materials

    All drylin® drive units bearing points are equipped with lubrication-free­ and maintenance-free igus® high performance polymers. Options include materials for high temperature applications up to +180°C (iglidur® X, SLW-ES series) and for FDA-compliant environments (iglidur® A180).

    Lead screw clamp

    In many applications, a clamping option is also required as an additional safeguard against unintentional adjustment.
