Previous providers of access platforms in the 100 m segment only offer a high working height. This only covers applications on high buildings or wind turbines and work platform rental companies cannot always fully utilise the equipment. Our proven dual concept and the long reach of 39 m open up completely new areas of application and the rental company can look forward to high utilisation of the machine.

With the standard 53 tonne chassis, we offer a significantly lower vehicle weight than the competition and a more compact vehicle with only 5 axles. This makes the STEIGER® particularly manoeuvrable and allows it to be transported to locations that would otherwise not be possible. It has also enabled us to solve our customers' transport challenges. The STEIGER® T 1000 HF offers better transport and approval capabilities on the standard chassis. The lower weight saves fuel and reduces CO² emissions. The tyres are also subjected to less stress and wear.

In wind farms in particular, operations often have to be interrupted due to high wind speeds. Thanks to the dynamic reach system, work can continue with the STEIGER T 1000 HF even in strong winds. The output is adjusted accordingly.

Customers require an ever-increasing basket load capacity because more people and tools need to be transported to the site. The STEIGER® T 1000 HF therefore offers them a basket load of 600 kg.

The igus® energy chain is used in the carrier system. The maximum speed is specified by the EN280-1 standard and is 0.4 metres per second. This can be realised thanks to the compact carrier system, to which the energy chain system has made a significant contribution.

The E4.1 is very stable, compact and robust, which is unique in our energy chain sector. As the STEIGER® T 1000 HF is erected at 90°, we need a very stable and robust chain. It also offers long travel lengths and good unsupported lengths.

Thanks to the chainflex® CF77.UL cable, the bend radius and the chain configuration could be optimised.
