Silent and resilient linear and plain bearings in gynaecological chair

This gynaecological chair has been given a modern and attractive design that should still look elegant even after several years of use. The lines of the chair were also deliberately chosen to prevent possible injury to the doctor or an examined patient. The ergonomic shapes of the upholstery also have a positive effect on the comfortable positioning of the patient and should make a visit to the doctor as comfortable as possible.
Bearing technology that is 100% lubrication and maintenance-free must be used for the various linear and rotational movements of the gynaecological chair. The chair must also be noiseless over its entire service life. Due to the very frequent disinfection and cleaning, a solution also had to be found that offered long-term chemical resistance.

Today, the manufacturer relies on polymer plain bearing technology for all turning and swivelling movements of the gynaecological chair. The gentle turning and swivelling movements of the chair are made possible by iglidur ® bearings, which are absolutely lubrication-free and therefore ideally suited for use in medical applications. Compared to metal bearings, they also have a much lower noise level. The customer also relies on linear bearings from the drylin® product range. The main movement of the chair for travelling vertically is achieved using drylin® W-linear guides, consisting of profile rails and profile carriages, which are located in a telescopic guide built in-house. The advantages of the system are its complete freedom from lubrication and maintenance, good chemical resistance, high load capacity, low weight and small dimensions.
