Over 300 systems with a total of over 9,000 metres of basic flizz have already been equipped or retrofitted worldwide. For some time now, the focus has also been on export markets – e.g. Austria. In addition, igus has developed a new version of the system that uses a more robust energy chain and can be installed in tanks over 100 metres long. At the sewage treatment plant in Salzburg, the basic flizz system guides the mobile energy and signalling supply system to the scrapers in the clarifiers.

The basic flizz is a system for mobile energy supply to scrapers, rakes and other sewage treatment and hydropower plants. A complete set consists of an energy chain, which is filled with the tried-and-tested chainflex cables and guided safely and smoothly in a weatherproof stainless steel housing. With the developed moving arm and the smart plastics EC.P system for detecting push/pull forces, this set is a very good complete solution.
