igus® product guarantee of up to 36 months

We offer a manufacturer guarantee of up to 36 months for energy chains and chainflex cables. The new guarantee service gives customers confidence that they will be able to design their individual applications exactly right and always choose the most cost-effective product that works reliably.

Guarantee conditions and scope

igus GmbH offers buyers of energy chains and chainflex cables a guarantee of up to 36 months. It is valid for the number of double strokes calculated according to the igus online service life calculator. With this guarantee, igus offers free replacement within the indicated guarantee period from the date of initial purchase (delivery ex works).
 
The following guarantee conditions apply:
 
1. The guarantee is good for the number of double strokes calculated according to the igus online service life calculator upon submission of the guarantee certificate:

• for energy chains
• for chainflex cables

2. The guarantee applies only to igus components that fail due to wear and tear.
 
3. igus agrees to deliver replacement parts free of charge.
 
4. The guarantee does not cover failure due to mechanical damage or damage due to incorrect assembly.
 
5. Replacement part shipment does not extend the guarantee period.
