Hydraulic and pneumatic components give machinery and equipment power, precision, speed and dynamics. The demands on the installed machine elements are correspondingly high! The range of uses for iglidur® plain bearings, igubal® spherical bearings and drylin® linear guides or lead screws in fluid technology is constantly increasing. They are also proving their worth in fittings and valves. From simple linear movements to fast rotating applications, they offer high wear and abrasion resistance, chemical and temperature resistance as well as freedom from maintenance when running dry.
Around the world, manufacturers of hydraulic and pneumatic systems as well as HVAC facilities rely on lubricant-free hydraulic and pneumatic components from igus. The reason for this is simple: from short linear movements to fast rotating applications, our tribologically optimised plastics provide a high resistance to wear, abrasion, chemicals and temperature as well as freedom from maintenance.
In the flanged ball valves from Pister, maintenance-free plain bearings made of chemical-resistant iglidur® X material ensure a continuous, even rotation of the ball valve and guidance of the ball.
Our iglidur® X plain bearings resistant to chemicals and temperature are also used in the ecoflow dosing diaphragm pumps from LEWA. Installed in the engine, they minimise wear on the piston rod pin.
