Expand your modular interface quickly & flexibly with the snap-on-carrier

For even more flexibility in the tightest of spaces

Subsequent extensions or special requests, such as guiding liquid media outside but still close to the interface, are often time-consuming and involve a great deal of effort. This in-house development of the snap-on-carrier can simply be clicked onto an existing igus Module Connect connection in order to attach other components, such as additional cables or pneumatic hoses to the interface in parallel or at a later date.
This means you have all transfer points clearly secured in one central area - and without any tools at all, as the snap-on-carrier was deliberately designed for tool-free assembly. Convince yourself and ask here online for a free sample part straightaway.

The modular interface: Module Connect

Move Module Connect into the shopping cart at a click ...

... available from stock!

For users who want to configure their individual interface themselves, there are now Module Connect sets with three or four cable inputs.
They consist of carrier housings, connector housings, sealing inserts and strain relief. Accessories, such as single and double locking devices and fixing elements, can be ordered to match the application. Contact inserts for individual configuration are also available at igus!

Installation instructions of the modular plug-in connector

One connector module instead of many individual connectors ...

... Module Connect

Thanks to the simple modular design,  a unique plug-in/disconnect point can be configured as a single module consisting of several different connector housings. Each housing can be fitted with up to four different connector inserts.

The housings can then be joined together, making an almost unlimited number of module variations possible in terms of individual widths and height. Due to the low-profile housing design, the Module Connect saves a lot of space and enables a high contact density for every application.

Good reasons for a ready-to-install solution ...

... igus readychain

For the production of machines and equipment, there are many good reasons to decide in favour of pre-harnessed energy supply systems:
  • Harnessing time is reduced by up to 95%
  • Reduction in manufacturing costs
  • Minimal amount of logistics work – no storage space necessary
  • Procurement optimisation - one system, one part number
  • Reduce assembly time – less machine downtime
  • On-site installation - international service with 35 subsidiaries
  • Special designs are possible – igus is developing further components

Adapter ensures easy and quick connection of the energy chain

Module Connect: German Design Award Winner 2021
The Module Connect adapter joins the Module Connect plug-in connector and the energy chain together to form a composite assembly.
  • Save up to 80% assembly time
Connect to the system with just a few simple steps
  • Clearly structured interface
Simple connection of the energy chain, even without electronic skills
  • Sustainable
Existing igus energy supply systems can be easily supplemented - the adapter is tailored to different e-chain series
