The use of spherical plain bearings is usually associated with high bearing weights, difficult installation and high costs. In most cases, maintenance is required in the long term, and the bearings are only corrosion-free in special designs. igubal spherical plain bearings put an end to all these disadvantages, because their design opens up completely new possibilities: They are easy to handle, cost-effective, very light and very robust.
Possible applications
The simple handling of igubal spherical plain bearings allows them to be used in a wide range of applications. They are used wherever self-aligning bearings offer design advantages or simplify assembly.
Mounting
igubal spherical plain bearings are pressed into an H7-hole and secured axially. Precise alignment of the bearing housing is not necessary as the spherical plain bearing automatically compensates for misalignment.
Tolerances
maintenance-free igubal spherical plain bearings are designed with an inner diameter tolerance of E10. The shaft should be tolerated between h6 and h9. The bearing clearance serves to compensate for bearing expansion during heating.
Dimensions
igubal spherical plain bearings are manufactured in dimensional series K and E in accordance with DIN ISO 12240. They are available in standard dimensions for shaft diameters from 2 to 40 mm. The dimensional series K is also available in inch dimensions. Other dimensions upon request.
