e-spool® cable reel with manual pull out cable

Benefits:

  • Retract a chainflex® cable directly
  • Capable of handling media and air hoses
  • Cable lengths of up to 5 metres can be accommodated.
  • Compact, space-saving, spring-driven cable reel without slip ring
  • Integrated locking mechanism to prevent unintentional rewinding (very similar to a hoover cable)

Filling rules for the e-spool® cable reel with manual pull out cable

  1. Cables must be routed side by side within the linear chain, never stacked on top of one another.
  2. Wherever possible, use unshielded chainflex® cables with a TPE outer jacket.
  3. For shielded applications, use cables from the chainflex® CFROBOT series.
  4. Always adhere to the maximum bend radius specified for the twisterband.
  5. Use separators where possible to protect cables from flashover and abrasion. For optimal use of internal space, install separators alternately in consecutive segments.
  6. Arrange cables by diameter or bend radius: place smaller, more flexible cables toward the inside and larger ones toward the outside.
  7. Ensure strain relief at both ends of each cable. Cable tie knots must not be positioned in the direction of the chain.
  8. Cables should be installed in the twisterband with sufficient clearance both inward and outward relative to the rotary axis.
