The winding system prevents frost from destroying the blossoms in orchards and causing crop failures. Using a special propeller, the system ensures that air circulates above the orchard, preventing frost from settling on the fruit trees. The system is mobile and can be extended vertically up to 10 metres. This means that an area of approx. 7 hectares can be covered.

Structure of the alternatives to the cable drum e-spool®

The compact and durable e-spool® combines the advantages of two different energy supply systems in one complete system: A standard e-chain® from the E2/000 series is guided by a roller, which has an integrated retaining spring to ensure that the energy chain is always the right length and tension. The customer can choose between three different length variants (0-4 m, 4-7 m and 7-14 m). In the starting position, the e-chain® is completely rolled up and compact.

This twisterband connects the reel to the shaft end block, which serves as an interface to the fixed cables. In contrast to sliding contact, cables for data, compressed air and liquids can also be routed safely throughout the system.
