Tan Cang Gantry relies on TX bearings in the chassis

Tan Cang Gantry relies on TX1 high-load bearings from the igutex range in the bogies of its RTG cranes. The TX1 bushings allow a surface pressure of up to 200MPa. This gives the engineers at Tan Cang Gantry more flexibility in the design. At the same time, the resistance on the shaft is minimised, thus increasing the service life.

Energy chain for long travels

The P4HD rol e-chain was developed for the next generation of container cranes. Thanks to the principle of "rolling instead of gliding", friction is reduced to a minimum and the chain moves optimally even with high cable loads and long travels. For particularly long trolley travels, sensor modules monitor the condition of the chain or cables and ensure safe operation.

Port of Rotterdam relies on P4.1 roller energy chain on STS crane

A P4.1 series rol e-chain is in operation at the Port of Rotterdam, one of the largest handling ports for bulk goods in Western Europe. Despite 24/7 continuous operation and a travel of over 100 metres, it works without incident on the huge ship-to-shore crane and has completed over 9,000 operating hours to date.
