Since May 2021, igus® has been a proud equipment partner of FANUC for the CRX-10iA and CRX-10iA/L collaborative robots. 
To ensure clean and, above all, safe guidance of cable and hose on the CRX robot, we offer the right fastening options with the igus® cobot clamps as well as extra protection with the robust triflex® R energy chain. 
You can choose between the open TRE chain, the closed TRC chain or the light TRL chain. You can choose between sizes 30 and 40 for the 3 versions.

To mount the triflex® R chain at the optimum distance from the axis 6, we also offer the matching tension clamp. 
This is fixed to the robot with two screws and the clamp also has 2 holes at the other end to fit a mounting bracket(TL.40.01.Z2).

Each cobot clamp comes with a 1 metre Velcro strap, which enables it to be mounted on axis 1 of the CRX. 
In this case, the mounting bracket is mounted on the clamp rotated by 90°, thereby ensuring a reliable connection between the cobot, clamp, Velcro strap, mounting bracket and triflex® chain. 
The Velcro tape also has a non-slip, silicone-free coating on the inside, which further increases the grip on the robot.

Installing a triflex R energy supply system on the FANUC CRX

Installing the energy supply on the CRX robot is quick and easy and requires only a few tools (scissors, hexagon socket, screwdriver).

Intelligent plant monitoring with the Fanuc FIELD system and smart plastics

To evaluate data from machines and systems, FANUC, an international robot manufacturer, offers its "FIELD system" open industrial IoT platform. The system uses local network topology to connect production machines from all manufacturers, allowing comprehensive data analysis for the entire process chain. This infrastructure uses apps from FANUC and third-party suppliers. The "smart plastics - i.Cee" app enables maintenance personnel to monitor the condition of their smart plastics components, such as energy chains and cables, and plan maintenance work in advance in the FIELD system.
