Applications with high numbers of cycles, speeds and accelerations in demanding environmental conditions require proven, reliable data, especially for energy chains and cables. igus® conducts continuously tests in its in-house laboratory under real conditions.
 Every year, we conduct more than 2,000 tests on e-chains® and cables.The focus of our tests are push/pull forces, co-efficients of friction and wear rates. Influencing factors such as speed, load, dirt, weathering, temperature and impacts and shocks are tested. Tests on electric cables and hoses for all types of media, hydraulics and pneumatics.
