New harnessed robotic dress packs now available for quick replacement and installation22/02/2017

In automated plants and other manufacturing facilities, downtime creates a critical situation. Once production stops, every minute counts, making new standard, fully-assembled dress packs for industrial robots an ideal solution to get systems back up and running.

The standard assembled dress packs consist of triflex multi-axis cable carriers, guaranteed chainflex continuous-flex cables, hoses, and other components that can be adapted to suit the needs of each customer’s individual needs. “The growing need for retrofit solutions in existing plants gave us the idea to develop and offer standardized dress packs for robots,” explains Dale Rheaume, product manager for readychain harnessed systems at igus.

Complete, quick retrofitting of industrial welding robots

To suit the needs of all robotic systems, igus pre-harnessed dress packs are available with optional connectors harnessed to more than 20 manufacturer standards with original plug connectors, dress pack retraction systems, and on-site installation and inspection services. The online QuickRobot tool is also available to configure your custom robotic solution from over 2,000 available options with just a few clicks. Try the QuickRobot at www.igus.com/quickrobot-online, or learn more about igus robotic solutions at www.igus.com/robotics.
